INDUSTRY Property SCOPE Office Signage & Billboard Design Branded Collateral Design Monthly Brand Strategy & Design Execution THE CLIENT Blending a successful 20-year legacy in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs with modern creativity, Heavyside brings a forward-thinking mindset to real estate. Their mission is to make the journey of selling, buying, or leasing not only positive but purposeful, with a focus on creating meaningful, human experiences. Recognising that buying or selling property marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another, the Heavyside team is dedicated to guiding clients through this emotional journey with support, empathy, and optimism for the future. THE BRIEF Having first approached First Sense initially to assist with signage for their new Camberwell office which has an impressive 18 metre frontage and exposure to a high profile intersection on the corner of Toorak Road and Camberwell Road. The signage was to announce the launch of this new location and to build brand awareness. The messaging was to be thought-provoking yet clear, with a strong emphasis on the themes of a ‘luxury boutique agency’ and an ‘elite customer service experience.’ What began as a single signage project has since grown into a rich, ongoing partnership, one focused on creatively amplifying Heavyside’s visibility, memorability, and brand perception at every touchpoint - from monthly brand awareness campaigns through billboards and unique seasonal marketing collateral, through to overall brand collateral refinement. THE PROCESS As always, we began with strategy. Remaining curious and digging deep into the function and key objective of every item designed. Beyond information delivery and into brand storytelling. Our proposal? To strip things back. Fewer photos and editorial-style imagery that conveyed a mood, a lifestyle, a story. We discussed shapes, layouts, backlit logos and legibility challenges. And then the words and their impact. Everything was on the table, no detail left to chance. Each design decision served a dual purpose: clarity for the viewer, and elevation for the brand. Every touchpoint becoming a moment of brand theatre, tailored to its environment, crafted to catch attention in a single glance. THE OUTCOME Heavyside’s brand presence has sharpened, strengthened and scaled, visually and strategically. They have expanded their office footprint, attracted respected agents to join the team, grown their market presence, and sharpened their edge in a saturated industry. With every new billboard, signboard or branded asset, the brand looks more aligned, more elevated, and unmistakably premium. In real estate, trust wins listings and style stops scrolls.
