INDUSTRY Wellness/Beauty SCOPE OF WORK Visual Identity Creation Brand Style Guide Website Skin Design THE CLIENT Sara Jade has spent more than 30 years in the beauty and wellness space — but for her, it’s never just been about hair. It’s about helping women feel like their true selves: seen, strong, and supported. Her own journey through endometriosis, hysterectomy, and early menopause became a turning point — not just physically, but emotionally. It was a season marked by loss, change, and eventually, clarity. She realised that too many women walk this path silently, and something had to shift. Her personal brand was born from that need — to create a safe, stigma-free space for real conversation, community, and connection. With plans to build a tight-knit network of women, host intimate events, and start long-overdue conversations around ageing and identity, Sara is rewriting the rules — and reminding women that they deserve to be celebrated at all seasons of life. THE BRIEF This project was deeply personal. Sara came to First Sense to build a brand that would hold her story — and hold space for others. She didn’t want to be boxed into pastel pinks or stereotypes. Yes, her audience is women, but this needed to go deeper: it had to be rooted in strength, honesty, and emotional intelligence. A brand that could lead with warmth, but still carry weight. Once the identity was defined, we created a suite of custom website design skins to ensure the entire brand experience — digital and beyond — felt cohesive, intentional, and unmistakably “her.” THE PROCESS We began, as always, with story. Sara’s voice, her values, and her vision became the blueprint. We explored themes of vulnerability, evolution, and feminine strength — landing on a direction that felt rich in meaning, not just in visuals. Typography became our voice — expressive and refined, with just the right tension between softness and structure. We carefully curated a colour palette that resisted cliché and reflected Sara’s desire to move away from the expected. The creative journey was an exercise in restraint, balance, and absolute clarity. THE OUTCOME The final identity holds power — not in volume, but in presence. It reflects the heart of Sara’s work: grounded, generous, and quietly transformative. It gives her the platform to show up as a speaker, mentor, and changemaker — while inviting other women to do the same. With this brand in hand, Sara can now build the community she’s long envisioned — one conversation, one event, one shared story at a time.
