INDUSTRY Property SCOPE Visual Identity Realignment Brand Style Guide Branded Collateral Design Social Media Visual Strategy Monthly Brand Strategy & Design Execution THE CLIENT Slater & Levin is a boutique real estate agency in Glen Eira, co-founded by Ari Levin and Jack Slater — former competitors and leading agents in their own right, who joined forces to become a powerhouse duo — offering a more considered and elevated experience in what has been a traditionally outdated industry. With a bold new business vision and an ultra-contemporary identity in place, they were ready to refine and build a brand that could carry them into the market with clarity, confidence, and distinction. THE BRIEF Ari and Jack brought a vision — a quicky drafted monochromatic identity, seeking support in refining it to a complete visual identity and building an entire suite of brand collateral. The goal? Elevate the boutique aesthetic, maintain a clean and minimalist black-and-white palette, and bring clarity to a design that felt overly stylised. Most importantly, they wanted to ensure their new brand felt premium and professional while still standing apart from the traditional, more corporate franchises in the local real estate landscape. THE PROCESS The project began with a deep audit of their existing design. We explored a number of refinements: rebalancing type weights, improving spacing, trialling character tweaks, and testing alternative layout formats to maintain uniqueness while improving clarity. Once finalised, we created a full library of logo assets, ensuring it could flex across a wide range of print and digital applications. Colour exploration may seem redundant for a black-and-white brand, but we dived deep into tone — from soft greys to sophisticated charcoals — to find shades that felt elevated and tactile rather than stark or sterile. The brand then expanded into a complete suite of collateral required for a new real estate business: from office signage and stationery to property brochures, signboards and pointerboards, social media templates, and seasonal marketing material. Every piece was carefully considered to feel cohesive, confident, and premium without ever veering into “corporate”. THE OUTCOME In just a short time, the impact of a clearly defined and cohesive visual identity has been impossible to ignore. Slater & Levin launched with standout market presence — quickly gaining traction and recognition in an industry. Since launching, the team has expanded, their office footprint has grown, and their name is now firmly on the radar across Melbourne’s Glen Eira, Stonnington and Bayside area. Every asset feels elevated, consistent, and clear and with this polished visual toolkit in hand, Slater & Levin now have the foundation to continue to grow their brand presence across all touchpoints with confidence.
